Our Cosmetic Dental Services
Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is a simple, easy way to brighten your smile. We offer both at-home and in-office professional teeth whitening for your convenience. Sometimes all a perfect smile needs is the ability to shine.
Dental Veneers
Veneers are thin porcelain shells, often less than a millimeter thick, that bond to the front of your teeth. They can fix a chipped tooth, close a small gap, or cover stubborn stains, usually in two appointments over a few weeks. For many people, it's a quick fix that makes them more comfortable smiling in everyday situations.
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding uses a tooth-colored composite resin that your dentist shapes and hardens directly onto the tooth. It can repair a chip, close a small gap, or cover minor discoloration, and it's usually finished in a single visit with little to no enamel removal. Bonding is more affordable than veneers. For small cosmetic fixes, it's a fast, low-commitment way to improve your smile.
Smart Moves Clear Aligners
Smart Moves clear aligners are a series of custom-made, removable plastic trays that gradually shift your teeth into better alignment. Each set is worn for about one to two weeks before you move to the next, and most treatments take several months to a year or more depending on the case. Because the trays are clear and removable, you can eat normally and brush and floss as usual, with no brackets or wires to work around.
Aligners work best for mild to moderate crowding, spacing, or bite concerns, and they need to be worn around 20 to 22 hours a day to stay on track. For adults who want straighter teeth without traditional braces, they're a discreet and flexible option.
6-Month Smiles
Six Month Smiles is a short-term orthodontic treatment that uses clear brackets and tooth-colored wires to straighten teeth, typically in about six months. It focuses on the teeth that show when you smile, so it's designed for cosmetic concerns like mild crowding, gaps, or slightly crooked front teeth rather than complex bite problems.
The lighter forces and shorter timeline make it less involved than traditional braces, and the tooth-colored hardware is far less noticeable. Because the brackets are fixed in place, you can't remove them for eating or cleaning, so careful brushing and flossing are important throughout treatment. For adults who want a faster, more targeted way to straighten their front teeth, it's a practical alternative to full braces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can cosmetic dentistry fix an overbite?
Partly, depending on the cause. If the overbite is skeletal (the jaws themselves are misaligned) or caused by tooth position, orthodontic treatment like braces or clear aligners is the standard fix, and severe skeletal cases may need orthognathic (jaw) surgery. Cosmetic procedures can improve the appearance of a mild overbite without moving teeth. Veneers or bonding can reshape and lengthen teeth to camouflage the bite. These are visual fixes only and don't correct how the teeth meet, so they won't resolve bite-related problems like jaw pain or uneven wear. An evaluation by a dentist or orthodontist is the best way to determine which route fits your situation.
Is a cosmetic dentist better than a regular dentist?
Neither is inherently "better"; they serve different goals. A general dentist focuses on oral health: exams, cleanings, fillings, and gum care. "Cosmetic dentist" isn't an officially recognized dental specialty. It generally describes a dentist who has pursued extra training and experience in aesthetic work like veneers, whitening, and smile makeovers. For routine care, a general dentist is the right choice. For an appearance-focused procedure, look for a dentist with considerable cosmetic experience, and ask to see before-and-after photos of their past cases. Many general dentists also offer cosmetic services, so you may not need to look further.
What Type of Post-Treatment Care is Required After Having My Teeth Whitened?
It is normal to experience some tooth sensitivity following a professional whitening treatment. You may be instructed to avoid consuming highly pigmented beverages for at least 24 hours to prevent the teeth from becoming stained again. Examples include tea, coffee, and wine. Depending on your results and long-term teeth whitening goals, you may also be sent home from your procedure with an at-home whitening kit for later use.
